Hultquist Copenhagen was founded in 1980 byAnne Hultquist, who had a vision of designing unique, handcrafted fashion jewellery for a demanding audience. Anne Hultquist still supervises design, ensuring that the Hultquist Copenhagen style is retained in every detail.

The base of the jewellery is metal alloy. This base metal is then coated with copper or palladium, and afterwards it is covered with real silver or gold.

Finally, the jewellery is treated with gloss, dull or antique finish. Most of the decoration are Swarovski crystals, quartz, fresh-water pearls and Czech glass beads. All the jewellery is nickel-free and comes nicely packaged in pillow packs with the Hultquist logo.
